The Suffolk Community Perinatal Mental Health Service are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to become part of their team.
You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.
Duties Include (but Are Not Limited To)
* Supporting Clinicians to maintain electronic patient records.
* Booking appointments
* Typing of letters
* Maintaining and monitoring waiting lists
* Diary management
* General admin support to wider clinical team
* Liaising with other teams
* Supporting with telephone calls
* Undertake other appropriate duties, as directed, being adaptable and flexible to service needs and changes across the locality.
Previous administration experience is essential. Full training will be given.
We are looking to appoint a band 3 Administrator to our Community Perinatal Mental Health Team.
You will be joining the service at a very exciting time and will play a key role in helping the service to deliver on the NHS long-term plan and our continued expansion.
The post will be working alongside another band 3 admin, reporting into the band 4, with specific tasks associated to the role, but flexibility and variation required to meet the needs of the team at busy times. The role is varied within a very busy, fast-paced team with deadlines and challenges. There will be developmental opportunities and a comprehensive induction for the successful candidate.
Tasks will include letter completion, ordering of stationery and supplies, minute taking, uploading information to the Lorenzo computer system, photocopying, collating booklets etc. No day is ever the same and cover will be required for annual leave and sickness of the band 3 and band 4 where appropriate.
