?????? ????????: My client is looking for a proactive General Stores / Maintenance Assistant to join their expanding team. This newly created role offers a variety of responsibilities, ensuring operations run smoothly day-to-day. From maintaining stock levels to performing general maintenance tasks, your role will be key to supporting their growing business.
?????? ????????????????????????????????: Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the general stores area, ensuring it meets safety and operational standards.
Oversee stock replenishment, keeping accurate records, and ensuring inventory is readily available for production needs.
Organise the safe storage of materials and components, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly stored to minimise waste or damage.
Identify and address minor repairs around the site.
Assist with ad hoc maintenance projects and improvements across the site.
Work closely with the R&D team to understand their needs and priorities, ensuring efficient material flow.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, keeping workspaces clean, safe, and organised.
???????????????????? ?????? ????????????: Previous experience in stores or stock management within a manufacturing environment is essential.
Any mechanical qualifications or experience are a huge bonus (with potential for additional mechanical training).
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
