Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of low-code and Python-based, data-driven, automation solutions to support the Securities Services function.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data-driven tasks.
* Conduct data analysis, including data mining, cleansing, and modelling, to uncover insights and identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement, as well as improved outcomes with respect to optimising client performance and revenues.
* Drive process engineering initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance operational efficiency within the Securities Services function. Support Enterprise wide Process & Risk simplification initiatives as a representative of Securities Services.
* Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and workflows to streamline data processing and analysis tasks.
* Perform ad-hoc analysis and generate reports to support decision-making and strategic initiatives within the Securities Services function.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop management information systems (MIS) for monitoring and reporting purposes.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, process engineering, and MIS within the financial services industry.
* Work closely with end users, business units, and other IT resources in all stages of project life cycle, including investigation, analysis, design, testing, and implementations to ensure business requirements are successfully implemented.
* Provide support to key Business stakeholders involved in client performance and revenue optimisation.
Requirement
* An experienced operations professional in the banking or financial sector with digital asset exposure and minimum 5-10 years of experience, across digital asset and conventional asset servicing (client onboarding, securities trade/clear/settlement/corporate actions, billing, payments, regulatory reporting, reconciliation, exception handling and business continuity management).
* Bachelor’s degree in Banking/Finance/Information Technology or a similar subject or comparable professional training.
* Experience in working with and managing outsourcing partners.
* Demonstrates a passion for digital assets and understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
* Preferably, a track record of leading change and defining operational processes for new business lines.
