Project and Programme Coordination: Ensure that assigned projects and programmes are effectively planned, monitored, and delivered within agreed timescales and budgets. Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications, and stakeholder management. Support project governance through maintaining risk logs, preparing reports, and facilitating project meetings. Resource Management: Manage and allocate project support resources to align with programme needs. Monitor and report on resource utilisation to ensure optimal efficiency. Leadership: Directly manage the project support officers, including recruitment, appraisals, and performance reviews. Oversee administrative functions such as procurement, invoicing, and compliance with organisational policies. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders. Act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse complex data to inform decision-making and improve service delivery. Prepare reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and external stakeholders. Policy Development: Support the development and implementation of policies that impact cancer services. Propose and influence policy changes to enhance service delivery. Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion: Champion diversity and equality within the team and ensure alignment with NHS standards. Compliance and Safeguarding: Ensure adherence to safeguarding protocols and NHS guidelines, attending regular training as required.
