Arcadis is looking to add an experienced and motivated Senior Contracts Manager to its team. This role supports the contract governance function within the Intelligence Global Business Area and specializes in contracting digital product offerings to public and B2B environments. Responsibilities include leading commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation on contract terms, supporting contract performance, proactively managing risks, issues, and opportunities within the GBA, and owning contract lifecycle management and compliance activities.
The role involves establishing and maintaining contract KPIs, supporting commercial evaluations and contract change proposals, working with legal teams for drafting and negotiations, and ensuring effective contract management processes. Effective communication skills and the ability to operate independently are essential. This position is pivotal in integrating various software products acquired by Arcadis, ensuring effective checks and balances across all aspects of CLM.
The role is within our global business area, Intelligence, which leverages digital intelligence and human knowledge to create holistic products and solutions. We empower clients with data-driven insights and technologies to address global challenges such as climate change, urbanization, digitalization, and societal expectations, all aimed at improving quality of life.
Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day CLM processes relevant to products and services, establishing robust CLM procedures, aligning with corporate functions, and collaborating with technology and growth teams to deliver best-in-class products efficiently and scalably.
Qualifications & Experience:
Passion for improving quality of life, teamwork, and transformation. A bachelor's or master's degree in commercial management and at least 10 years of experience in commercial, risk, and legal negotiations of complex digital product projects. Proven track record in project execution, negotiation, financial performance, technical compliance, and client engagement. High intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels, especially senior management. A pragmatic attitude is vital.
Additional requirements include:
* Understanding of the Contract Lifecycle Management phases in digital environments, preferably in public sector and B2B contexts.
* Knowledge of compliance frameworks.
* Understanding of organizational mission, values, and goals.
* Strong persuasion and observation skills, especially with internal stakeholders.
* Ability to communicate contractual details clearly and effectively.
* Time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Excellent decision-making capabilities in conflicting situations.
