About us
Heritage House School in Chesham is a special school where our learners are at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to enable children and young people to learn and achieve within an enriching, relevant, stimulating and enjoyable curriculum. In doing so we will ensure our children and young people enjoy educational and social experiences which will prepare them for life beyond Heritage House.
Some of the social experiences that our learners take part in are hydrotherapy sessions in our own pool, as well as swimming in the local community pool, and a wide variety of trips such as local horse-riding, tennis and sailing.
About the role
You will be joining a dedicated and talented team, working closely with the teachers to enhance the learning experiences of small groups of learners in a classroom environment.
The role is working 33.25 hours per week Monday to Friday term-time only with an additional 5 days for training.

About you
We are looking for someone who is interested in working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities who is adaptive, creative, enthusiastic and would be dedicated to putting our learners at the heart of everything we do. If this is you, we would love to hear from you.
We offer full support through an induction programme and in-house training and mentoring. Experience is desirable but not essential.
