The Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) department supports the business to reduce HS&W risk and create positive working environments. Our Health, Safety and Wellness team at Sellafield are currently looking for a Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join the team.

Your profile
The purpose of a H&S Advisor is to support stakeholders to achieve the highest levels of HS&W performance. A developing member of the HS&W team, you will work closely with the Regional HS&W team, assigned projects teams, and project supply chain members. You will provide advice and support to management teams, employees, and supply chain partners and work collaboratively with the client team.
Essential
1. Member of IOSH
2. NEBOSH Construction Certificate
3. Excellent people leadership skills
4. Experience of providing highly technical H&S support to complex Construction or Civil Engineering projects
5. Competent understanding and ability to apply root cause analysis
6. Excellent communication and influencing skills
7. Experience of leading HS&W improvement with successful results
8. A proactive approach to your own learning and development
9. Experience of providing H&S support to Construction or Civil Engineering projects
Desired:
1. Chartered member of IOSH
2. NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 in Occupational Health and Safety
3. Mental Health First Aider
4. Sound understanding of behavioural psychology and human factors
5. Environmental qualification
