Production Manager - Bespoke Signage/Design
We are seeking a Production Manager to run our graphics and sign shop based in Lympne, Kent.
This role offers the perfect opportunity to blend leadership with hands-on design and production. You’ll lead a small creative team, shaping the visual identity of a growing business while delivering high-quality content ensuring creative outputs are on-brand, commercially driven and engaging.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of tenders and quotations.
2. Preparation of designs.
3. Site visits for planning works.
4. Scheduling of work – liaising with the client/contractors.
5. Preparation of accounts for invoicing.
6. Control of office systems and files.
7. Purchasing of all materials.
8. Manage and mentor the team, providing guidance, feedback and support.
9. Maintain high standards of quality across all projects.
10. Carry out other reasonable duties within your capabilities as requested and instructed to meet the needs of the business.
Required Skills
1. Proven ability to lead bespoke projects and deliver work within brand guidelines.
2. Design, layout and typography expertise.
3. Confident, self-managing, able to work on own initiative.
4. Good attitude / work ethic / team player.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to lead by and set a good example.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
1. Experience with Illustrator and CorelDRAW would be advantageous.
