Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for your next role?
The company you will be working for is an established Main contractor with projects consisting of education, healthcare, Ministry of Defence, and mixed-use projects up to £20m in value.You will have exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery.
As Quantity Surveyor you will be working initially on a mixed use project with support from a Senior QS / Commercial Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting accurate cost estimates, budget management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely cost advice.
3. Analyzing contracts, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
4. Preparing detailed bills of quantities and tender documents.
5. Evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiating favorable terms.
6. Monitoring project progress and variations, ensuring alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements.
7. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our cost management processes.
With a strong pipeline in the Midlands market, you can expect to be involved in a variety of projects and never be pigeon holed into a sector.
