We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Applied Science and Biology Teacher to join our team on a full-time maternity cover basis in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is ready to make a difference in the classroom and help students achieve their academic potential.
Requirements:
* QTS or PGCE in Biology, Science, or a related field.
* Experience teaching Biology and Applied Science at secondary level.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Applied Science and Biology to secondary students.
* Plan, prepare, and assess student's work to ensure progress in both theory and practical elements.
* Monitor and support student development, ensuring a high standard of education.
* Work collaboratively with other departments and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
* Contribute to school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities as required.
