Carer/Personal Assistant role

Hours of work: 8 HOURS PER WEEK. Hours are to be worked predominantly during weekends, but evenings and school holidays may be required on occasion. The exact working hours would be discussed at interview stage, with the prospective employer.
Location: Child lives in Lymm, activities likely to take place around Warrington,
Altrincham and North Cheshire
Rate of pay: £12.60 PER HOUR
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Carer/Personal Assistant is required to support a female child with attending social and leisure activities in the community, including Climbing Club, Warrington Youth Zone, shopping, parks.
The child is autistic but also suffers with anorexia and OCD, which requires her activities to be monitored and controlled.
She is extremely intelligent, and once a relationship has been struck, is bright, funny, caring and loving. Experience in this type of work is essential for this role.
MAIN DUTIES:
· Support to learn independent living skills
· Assistance with feeding
· Support whilst family is caring for their other child
· Escorting to events and outings
· Support during social and leisure activities

A probationary period will be included for the successful applicant.
The successful applicant would be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
