We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school community starting in April 2025. This is a full-time role with the possibility of an extension in September 2025.
About the Role:
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons, ensuring that young learners meet their potential in a supportive and stimulating environment. You will play a key role in the development of students' academic, social, and emotional skills, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 students
2. Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
3. Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in the classroom
4. Support students' emotional and social development
5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
6. Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
About You:
- We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and creative Year 1 Teacher who will inspire and motivate young children. The ideal candidate will be:
1. Enthusiastic and committed to helping students achieve their full potential
2. A strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with staff, parents, and students
3. Able to adapt to the changing needs of children, fostering a supportive learning environment
4. Reflective, with a commitment to personal and professional development
5. Experienced in teaching at Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1
Key Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. Experience in teaching at Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1
3. Strong organisational and communication skills
4. A proactive, team-oriented approach to teaching and learning
5. A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their educational journey
