We are currently seeking a talented and proactive Assistant Site Manager to join their team, focusing on facades and brickwork for their ongoing and upcoming projects. Role Overview: As an Assistant Site Manager specializing in facades and brickwork, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities on-site. You will focus on ensuring that all brickwork and façade elements are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day site management of brickwork and façade works on large-scale construction projects. Support the implementation of project schedules, ensuring the brickwork and façade works progress according to the defined timeline. Oversee subcontractors and trades involved in the façade and brickwork operations, ensuring they follow safe work practices and meet project specifications. Assist in the monitoring and inspection of brickwork and façade quality to ensure compliance with design drawings, safety regulations, and project standards. Ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and resources for brickwork and façade works, and manage waste minimization. Liaise with the design team, architects, and engineers to resolve any site issues or design discrepancies related to facades and masonry works. Assist in daily site briefings, reporting on progress, safety, and any potential risks to the Site Manager. Monitor health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with legal and company standards. Prepare and maintain project documentation related to site progress, site safety, and quality control for facades and brickwork. Assist with site inductions and the training of new team members on safe and efficient working practices. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or higher in Site Management or equivalent). Proven experience in a similar role, with a specific focus on brickwork and facades in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of façade systems, brickwork techniques, and associated building materials. Experience working on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is highly desirable. Understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to promote a culture of safety on-site. Good communication and leadership skills to manage subcontractors and collaborate with project teams A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
