About Us
Horizons Residential Care Limited is a well-established residential childcare provider based in the East Coast of Scotland and has been providing therapeutic residential childcare service since 2013. We won the Best Social Care Provider award in 2019, the Best Care Home Award in Scotland in 2021 and also won the Best Care Home Group in the UK in 2022 and 2023.
We have recently undergone restructuring with a view to enhance the standards and quality of care provision to our Children and Young People and Local Authorities across the UK. Horizons has expanded the range of services it provides and is opening new homes over the next few months. Consequently, we have a number of opportunities opening up: Registered House Managers, Senior Residential Care Workers and Residential Care Workers.

Job Position : Residential Care Workers
Hourly Rate for Residential Care Workers is in the range of £12.50 to £15.50.
Experienced and Fully Qualified (HNC and SVQ 3) applicants will be on the following Pay Rate: A minimum £14 per hour, equivalent to an Annual Salary Approx : £33,890 inclusive of sleepover allowance.
The ideal candidate must have 2 or more year’s experience working with and caring for vulnerable young people in a residential care setting, who have a range of support needs varying from traumatic life experience, family breakdown, to disability.
Candidates must also be fully qualified or working towards qualifications to work as a residential childcare worker, meeting the requirements as set out by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) for registration. For drivers, a clean and current driving licence is required, alongside a willingness to transport the young people in our care using company vehicles.
