Exam Invigilator (E6511) - Co-op Academy Leeds
At Co-op Academy Leeds, we strive to create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to flourish, both academically and socially. We encourage our students and staff to aim high, demonstrate perseverance, and adopt a growth mindset, even when challenges arise.
Teaching and learning are at the core of everything we do; we believe that without a strong learning culture, nothing else matters. Our focus is on providing regular, relevant, and valuable professional development for our staff, much of which is crafted and delivered by our dedicated in-house Teaching & Learning Team. We expect everyone who joins our community to actively participate in this culture of sharing and continuous improvement.
We’re looking for Exam Invigilators to join our friendly team in the running of all public and internal examinations at Co-op Academy Leeds throughout the academic year. This is a casual contract and working hours will be negotiated for each exam period.
To be successful in this role, you will have good attention to detail, be flexible, and an excellent timekeeper. Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided. Applicants should be computer literate and available during November, January, February, March, May, and June on an ad hoc basis.
The role of an Invigilator is key to ensuring Co-op Academy Leeds examinations are managed efficiently and effectively, in line with procedures and processes. Tasks include preparing exam rooms, distributing papers and stationery, advising candidates of exam conditions, observing students during the exam, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are adhered to. After the exam, you are responsible for collecting exam materials and leaving exam rooms tidy.
This role would suit someone who is confident, flexible, and adaptable and is available during the exam series.
Co-op Academies Trust, as an aware employer, is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults as its number one priority. This commitment to robust recruitment, selection, and induction procedures extends to organisations and services linked to the Trust on its behalf. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. We value variety and individual differences and aim to create a culture, environment, and practices at all levels which encompass acceptance, respect, and inclusion. All our colleagues are expected to demonstrate a commitment to Co-operative values and principles.
The above post is not a Leeds City Council vacancy and has been advertised on behalf of the relevant organisation. To apply, please follow their application instructions.
