BAND 4 - 22.5 HOURS Days of work to include Monday and Thursday/ Frailty An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen for a generic (physio and OT) Therapy Assistant Practitioner, who has at least 12 months experience of working as a band 3 therapy assistant to join the therapy team on a permanent basis. Progressive posts will be considered. Main duties of the job We are looking for a motivated Therapy assistant practitioner with excellent clinical and communication skills to work alongside and support qualified therapists in the treatment of patients on the acute wards at Leighton Hospital. The post holder will be expected to contribute to assessments and carry out treatment plans agreed by the qualified therapist for allocated patients. They will contribute to the inputting of data and produce monthly reports. We also require the commitment to contribute to a seven-day service. The team is based at Leighton Hospital, Crewe. The successful candidate will be expected to work and support across the frailty wards, and wider rehabilitation team.
