Job summary Bexley Intensive Older People Home Treatment Team is a multidisciplinary team, providing a service during the week at 8am -8pm hours and during the weekend 9am-5pm to individuals in mental health crisis with the principal aim of providing an effective alternative to older adults inpatient care. This involves intensive clinical work over short periods of time to prevent the need for admission or facilitate safe early discharge. The Intensive Home treatment team works in close collaboration with the other elements of the crisis services, Mental Health Liaison, Crisis line, as well with older people in-patient and community mental health teams, local authorities and emergency services. The post holder will provide line management and clinical & operational leadership to the Bexley Intensive Home Treatment team, working closely with members of the team to maximise effectiveness and efficiency of service provision. The post-holder will ensure that the team delivers a high-quality service and collaborates effectively with other clinical teams within the older adult mental health directorates, and with partnership agencies.
