Graduate Electronics Engineer
The graduate electronics engineer will support and assist the electronics team within the new product development division. This is a great role for a newly qualified engineer to put all of their theoretical knowledge into practice. The role is practical with time spent in the workshop where you can develop your skills surrounded by an experienced team.
The electronics team sits within the NPD function and they are a key unit within the development cycle of new and existing Vax products. The team is involved in developing products from concept to production.
Day to Day Role
1. Design of electronic systems/solutions for Vax floor care products
2. Construction and validation of prototype hardware including full PCB layouts, wiring systems, and BOM
3. Design, code, and validation of embedded firmware to support electronic designs
4. Analyse & troubleshoot existing / new designs to support pre & postproduction activities
Ideal Experience
An electronic engineering degree demonstrating a practical element to their work. Work experience in electronic product design, ideally within a consumer-driven business.
1. A willingness to be a practical hands-on skills engineer demonstrating this in developing electronic systems
2. Ideally electronic design experience (analogue/digital) including DFM, DFC & EMC. This is not a pre-requisite.
3. Altium Designer knowledge, or an equivalent.
4. Computer literate with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications
