Job Title: Teaching Assistant Company: Prospero Teaching Overview: Prospero Teaching is recruiting a motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Bury. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, covering classes in teacher absence, and leading interventions to support student learning and progress. Key Responsibilities: Classroom Support: Assist with lessons, ensuring students stay engaged and focused. Cover Classes: Manage the classroom in the absence of the teacher, maintaining a positive learning environment. Lead Interventions: Run small and large group interventions, particularly in literacy and numeracy. Behaviour Management: Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment. Support Individual Needs: Provide additional help to students, including those with SEN. Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student progress. Safeguarding: Ensure the well-being of all students by following safeguarding procedures.Contract Details: Position: Teaching Assistant Contract Type: Long-term (Ongoing) Start Date: November 2024 Full-Time: Yes, 08:20 AM - 3:45 PM Rate of Pay: £90 per dayQualifications & Experience: Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
