Finance Manager
Aquilo Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading construction business based in Hull to find a skilled Finance Manager. This exciting opportunity offers hybrid working and is commutable from surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, review, and analyze monthly Management Accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Report and analyze Management Accounts against budgets and reforecasts, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
* Drive improvements in management information and reporting, working closely with the Group Finance Team and Commercial Departments.
* Prepare and develop key management information for the business, including overhead reporting, KPIs, and dashboard reporting.
* Support the Group Finance Team in processing transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring the general ledger is maintained and reconciliations are completed monthly.
* Manage costs, including payroll, overheads, and expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Work with business and commercial departments to optimize working capital management through improved reporting and scrutiny.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date cash flow forecasts, working closely with the supply chain team.
* Prepare annual reports and accounts, and manage the audit process.
* Assist with management of external advisers, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
* Develop and monitor the overhead budget, including reforecasts and reporting with commentary on performance.
* Manage team performance, including delegation, training, and setting targets.
