An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Urgent Results Coordinator to join the Radiology Administrative team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for someone to join a dynamic, friendly, and welcoming department.
The successful candidate must be able to provide a comprehensive administrative service with regards to the communication of urgent results, working closely with the Consultant Radiologists and referrers within the hospital and primary care. The post holder should have excellent communication skills, and be able to use a wide range of IT systems to input and communicate sensitive patient information and time sensitive data.
It is vital that the successful candidate builds relationships with key people in the department and become a proactive member of the Radiology Admin Team.

To facilitate the timely communication of urgent Imaging results to referrers, by using clear and effective communication and processes, to ensure patients pathways are not delayed and clinical decisions can be made regarding treatment.
The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring acknowledgement of results by referrers, establishing a tracking process for this and prompting referrers to acknowledge reports within particular timeframes.
This job requires implementing new processes and policies within the Department to facilitate new standards of practice, in line with latest national guidance. The post holder will need to be adaptable to change and willing to suggest and implement ideas in conjunction with other colleagues in the Department.
