About The Role
Morrison Energy Services is recruiting for a Project Engineer to work on our Electricity Transmission Contract on projects across the UK. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of our OHL Delivery Teams who are responsible for managing individual projects; including sub-contracts, coordinating resources and technical support; with a brief to ensure on-time delivery within defined budgets, without compromise on safety or quality.
As the Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Reporting to the Project/Site Manager (project dependent) on all day-to-day commercial and operational issues.
2. Responsible to Operations Manager on all commercial, operational, and technical delivery issues.
3. Ensure Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans and Quality Plans are in place for all operational sites and contribute to the development of policies and procedures as may be required.
4. Ensure all necessary documentation is in place, being complied with and regularly reviewed for all site-based activities e.g., method statements, work instructions, risk assessments, etc.
5. Support the Business Development and Bids teams with appropriate technical support at tender and proposal stages.
6. Ensure timely programming and change notifications are communicated to support other internal departments e.g., Plant & Transport.
