Job summary This is a replacement post. The Gynaecological Oncology Fellow at King's College Hospital, London, plays a key role in the management of patients with gynaecological cancers, including ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vulval, and rare pelvic malignancies. This fellowship offers advanced clinical exposure to complex oncological surgery, including open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted procedures, as well as involvement in chemotherapy and radiotherapy planning. The fellow will work within a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, specialist nurses, and palliative care teams, contributing to high-quality, patient-centered care. In addition to surgical training, the fellow will actively participate in cancer MDT meetings, outpatient oncology clinics, colposcopy, and advanced imaging reviews, gaining a holistic understanding of gynaecological cancer management. The role also provides opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and medical education, ensuring the fellow contributes to innovation and best practices in gynaecological oncology.
