We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Product to lead our product strategy and development efforts. This pivotal role will involve overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from conception through to launch, ensuring that our offerings meet the needs of our customers and align with our business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
* Design: Design specialist protective/armoured, tracked vehicles and lead on iteration development and delivery.
* Defining a clear product vision: Setting a clear and inspiring vision for the product, outlining its purpose, target market, and unique value proposition.
* Conducting competitor analysis: Monitoring the competitive landscape, identifying competitor offerings, strengths, and weaknesses.
* Conducting user research: Gathering insights into user needs, pain points, and preferences through user research methods.
* Defining product requirements: Creating detailed product requirements that outline functionality, user experience, and technical specifications.
* Setting product roadmap: Creating a strategic roadmap that outlines the product’s future development.
* Monitoring key product metrics: Establishing and tracking key product metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Product team management: Managing a diverse team of product managers, designers, and engineers.
* Partnering with sales and marketing: Collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams, providing product expertise and support.
* Product launches: Coordinating product launches and developing launch strategies.
* Product innovation: Encouraging creativity and exploring new technologies and market trends.
* Representing the company: Representing the company to strategic customers, the press, and analysts.
* Build relationships: With suppliers and introduce new and innovative products.
* Staying up to date with changes to legislation affecting our business and the Defence industry.
* Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager.
* Safeguard all Company assets.
* Treat all employees and customers professionally and with respect.
* Always act in the best interests of Wraith Defence.
* Work in a responsible manner to ensure safe working practices.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree in product management, engineering, business, design or a related field.
* A solid foundation in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
* Skilled in designing specialist protective/armoured, tracked vehicles.
* Leading on iteration development.
* Strong background in product management experience.
* Product team leadership experience.
* Successful delivery of consumer-facing products that drive user value and business goals.
* Experience with user experience and AB testing.
* Ability to create structure out of ambiguity with a pragmatic attitude.
* Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
* Able to interpret technical drawings.
* Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Capability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
* Fluent in Microsoft packages.
* A full driving licence.
* Residence in the UK.
