Contract Manager – London - Harrow & South Coast – Full Time £41,000 per annum (DOE) – Plus a car allowance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in APCOA for a commercially minded Contract Manager. You will lead, support and motivate operational teams across of a number of sites managed by APCOA, developing them to manage resources to deliver an effective and efficient business operation. This will achieve the budgeted financial results and deliver a performance that consistently exceeds the service levels and KPI standards agreed with the client. Customer service is key to the success of this account. The Contract Manager must ensure that all team members are focused on delivering consistently excellent levels of service. This includes all stakeholders, particularly members of the public.
We are looking for someone that will engage in stakeholder and operations management. You will be commercially astute, with the ability to provide dynamic and inspirational leadership in a demanding environment.
A valid UK driving license is essential for this role as regular travel to the sites will be required.
Key responsibilities
1. You will oversee budgeting and cost control across contracts.
2. Be responsible for the operational management of contracts.
3. Build and maintain positive client relations.
4. Responsible for account Management and business development.
5. Manage the teams, including appraisals, disciplinaries, rotas and any arising conflicts.
6. In charge of ensuring Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
Requirements
7. Proven multi-disciplinary experience in operational, contract, commercial and project management
8. 2 years minimum contract management experience in a client facing role.
9. Experienced in setting and managing budgets and KPIs performance.
10. Strong leadership and people management skills; able to coach, motivate and train staff to produce positive results.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at individual, team and group level.
12. Excellent relationship management skills and able to build, develop and maintain positive working relations with clients, suppliers and internal support services.
13. Able to produce informative and concise reports and make effective oral and written presentations.
