We are looking for motivated, pro-active, and enthusiastic individuals who are keen to join the community workforce.
As a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant you will be responsible for providing safe, personalised and effective care to patients who require community nursing care. Working alongside the community nurses, you will use a wide range of clinical skills and interventions within a home environment. You will need to possess excellent communication skills and be a team player, adapting to the changing work patterns of the service by remaining calm under pressure. You will also need to have good IT skills to support the systems in place.
The Community Nursing Service provides care to patients in the community setting. You will be well supported by our current team and provision is also made for your continued professional development.
A full valid driving licence and access to a car for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
This is a part-time role of 30 hours a week, including weekend working.
