Duties: Purchase Ledger Review all invoices received to ensure compliance with P/L guidance notes. Match with Purchase orders where applicable and query any variances. Input purchase ledger invoices into PMI Accurate & timely filing of documents in relevant shared folders Vendor account management Expense Claims Review expense forms for validity, accuracy of coding & calculation Manually calculate VAT reclaimable Payment Runs Prepare payment runs for review by HOF. Uploading onto banking system Post payments and distribute remittance advices. Credit Cards Manage timely return of credit card information from cardholders. Collate backup and ensure return of receipts for all credit card transactions. Review all credit card transaction coding, prepare journals and post to PMI. Reporting Monthly reconciliation of Aged Debtor and Creditor balance Bring supplier and internal enquiries to a satisfactory conclusion. Assist Head of Finance with monthly reporting Payroll Preparing and sending out the appropriate form of production staff contracts on receipt of HOA from production manager. Ensuring all the appropriate paperwork is returned by production staff on time for inclusion on the appropriate payroll. Preparing payroll spreadsheets for production staff and maintaining throughout production period Entering monthly freelancers onto spreadsheet for submission to HR Banking Posting bank entries onto PMI on a weekly basis Preparing bank and petty cash reconciliations on a monthly basis Sundry Various general ad hoc office duties Knowledge and skills: PMI experience an advantage. A drive to learn, develop and progress Ability to work under pressure during busy production periods Excellent communication & organisational skills Attention to detail Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines Ability to see tasks through to completion Intermediate to advanced excel skills Reporting to: Head of Finance Contract type: Permanent – Part Time (3-4 days per week) Working hours: 9:30am - 5:30pm We will consider flexible working requests for all roles, unless operational requirements prevent otherwise.
