Job Description
* Managing the purchase ledger, ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded.
* Reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure all payments are up to date.
* Processing of payment runs in a timely and efficient manner.
* Assisting with month-end procedures and reports in the finance department.
* Managing relationships with suppliers and resolving any queries or disputes.
* Assisting with other ad-hoc duties within the finance team as required.
* Ensuring adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the finance team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger should have:
* A solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and colleagues.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage workload efficiently.
