Please note, this role has a start date of February 2025 and so you must have completed your studies before this time About the role: You will join St. James's Place on a permanent full-time contract and complete the Cyber Security Graduate Programme. During the programme you will rotate within your chosen division, this will give you full exposure to that division and help you understand how it interacts with other areas of the business. On completion of your Graduate programme in September 2026, we intend for you to continue your career at St. James's Place with that division. Whilst on the Graduate Programme, you will build your technical knowledge by studying various technical qualifications and courses Your career will be driven by you and your interests and preferences. You may decide that you are interested in becoming a Cyber Analyst, investigating and unpicking information. Alternatively, your interests may align towards specialising as a Cyber Engineer, understanding the path to outcomes. The Cyber Security Team at SJP is a small team, responsible for protecting the reputation and resilience of St. James's Place, to prevent significant malicious disruption to our business objectives and to ensure we remain within our security and resilience risk appetite whilst we move to become more digital. The team ensures SJP can operate as a business by making systems secure, building relationships internally and with 3rd parties, maturing influence within SJP, feeding what we see and what we experience up to the Board and helping the direction that SJP takes to ensure clients information is kept safe. Working in the Cyber Security team is challenging and exciting. The team works closely with Data Protection, Information Security, Technology, Cloud and Business Systems Teams. You will rotate around a number of teams to gain experience and better your skills within the field. These include: Security Assurance Supplier Assurance Security Engineering Security Operations No two days as a Cyber Security Graduate are the same. Some of the tasks you could get involved with include running vulnerability scans using systems, looking at reports and raising incidents, working to remediate vulnerability, investigating incidents, calling Partners and providing support, working with 3rd parties and working with the project teams. About you: You will work from the Cirencester office two days a week, aligning with the needs of the team and the business. On occasions there will be travel to other SJP office locations (e.g. Bristol, London) for meetings, presentations, conferences. You will need to hold or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a relevant degree. You will need to be able to demonstrate a genuine curiosity about cyber and a methodical approach to problem solving and improvements.
