This is an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join theirhigh-achieving Estates Team in delivering first-class facilities for their students to enjoy.
This role required the successful candidate to live in School accommodation; this comprises of a two-bedroom house where rent and utilities will be paid by the School.

Role
Management of the Schools Ground team as well as responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the grounds.
Estate includes 4 schools on-site, therefore you MUST be able to drive.
FT role - 37.5 hours p/w plus an additional 180 hours (pro- rata evenings and weekends).
MUST reside on-site in a two bed house. The accommodation is provided both rent and utility free.
Previous Facilities Manager / Head Grounds Person experience essential.

Must be able to demonstrate relevant experience and a good working knowledge of grounds maintenance to include turf care and planting (Essential)
Skills & Knowledge
A minimum qualification of Horticulture (NVQ2) or similar (Desirable)
Experience operating a wide range of garden machinery (Essential)
PA1 and PA6 pesticide certificate (Desirable)
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation (Essential)
Qualification in chainsaw use (Desirable)
Working knowledge of tree care and local authority regulations (Desirable)
