Responsibilities include:
1. Managing and delivering QS services for fee-earning projects in the residential team, particularly in social housing
2. Developing the team's professional and interpersonal skills
3. Ensuring staff awareness and delivery of responsibilities
4. Providing exemplary service to clients
5. Handling full commercial contract administration from tender to final account
6. Procurement, negotiation, and supply chain management
7. Producing cost reconciliations and monthly forecasting for projects
8. Managing Risk and Opportunity processes for project benefit
9. Collaborating within a team to meet client deliverables
10. Conducting client office and site visits
11. Working on multiple contracts simultaneously with different clients
12. Upholding company standards in all undertakings
13. Ensuring timely and high-standard contract delivery
Key Attributes:
1. Experience in the Social Housing sector
2. Proficiency in Quantity Surveying duties
3. Commercial negotiation skills
4. Strong decision-making abilities for client benefit
5. Familiarity with contract management (JCT suite / NEC)
6. Commercially savvy and numerically adept
7. Well-organized with effective planning skills
8. Proficient in clear and concise communication
9. IT literate, especially in Microsoft Office/Excel
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or related technical discipline
2. Minimum 3 years' construction industry experience
3. Previous consultancy or end-user client background
4. Team-oriented, flexible, and ambitious
5. Proven track record in project management and team collaboration
