ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Chemical Engineer to join our Operations team to provide operational expertise for the KG Ethylene Plant. The post holder will coordinate all functions and provide leadership to ensure safe, reliable, and optimized delivery of the agreed plant production plan.
Key accountabilities
* Monitor plant operations, diagnose adverse trends, and implement corrective actions to achieve performance targets.
* Optimize asset care/breakdown maintenance plan to minimize production, cost, and SHE impacts.
* Develop, maintain, and audit technical and operating information required for the plant.
* Lead recovery of the plant from unplanned interventions with multi-discipline execution teams.
* Specify area operating constraints to define an optimized production plan.
* Act as the asset representative for project activities, managing interface with asset activities.
* Set internal priorities for maintenance and technical support to ensure plant availability.
* Audit Asset operating standards to ensure compliance with Site and Regulatory requirements.
* Support the identification of turnaround workscope requirements and execution activities.
ABOUT YOU
You should have:
* Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent capability through experience.
* Demonstrable technical/operational troubleshooting skills.
* A working knowledge of relevant Manufacturing disciplines.
* The ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
* The ability to coach and develop personnel.
* A high level of communication skills.
* Strong decision-making skills.
