SEN Teacher Maths- Crewe- Full Time – Temp to Perm – September 2024

As an SEN Teacher, you’ll be able to take a confident, calm and nurturing approach to encouraging the educational and personal development of students with specialist needs.
SEN Teacher | Job Summary
1. Salary: £160-£280 daily rate
2. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons adhering to the college’s guidelines and external accrediting bodies’ requirements.
3. Utilize teaching strategies specifically designed for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
4. Supervise and guide learning support workers, students, and volunteers during class.
5. Create differentiated lesson plans to meet curriculum requirements and individual student targets.
6. Monitor and report on students’ progress, maintaining accurate records as per college procedures.
7. Compile and update students’ work files, tracking progress towards learning outcomes.
8. Complete all necessary educational materials and documentation.
9. Ensure students’ physical well-being, implementing appropriate therapies, and overseeing support provided by assistants.
10. Manage learning support assistants within your class team.
11. Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, celebrating each student’s individual work.
12. Provide comprehensive academic, pastoral, and personal support for students, including acting as a personal tutor and overseeing lunchtime supervision.
13. Perform administrative tasks pertinent to teaching duties.
