From September, you will be expected to work as a Class Teacher in a Year 2 class within a 1 form entry Primary School in North Bristol.
This school is a vibrant and creative school who are bursting with curiosity and ambition to teach and develop children’s learning.
The Role
As a successful candidate, you will be expected to work within a Year 2 class on a full-time basis, communicating well with the other Key Stage teachers and Teaching Assistants to plan and deliver exciting lessons.
The Head Teacher is looking for an outstanding and inspirational teacher with an excellent understanding of the KS1 curriculum, committed to providing high quality learning and experiences for all children
You will be expected to:
* Have great knowledge of Phonics and Reading.
* Ability to assess children’s knowledge and development.
* Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
* Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
* Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
