Key Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough inspections of street works, ensuring compliance with NRSWA regulations
Recording and reporting on the condition of highway infrastructure and surface apparatus defects
Assessing and managing street work licences and ensuring adherence to relevant legislation
Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records of inspections
Liaising with contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and compliance
Identifying and addressing issues promptly to maintain the safety and efficiency of street works
Ensuring all inspections are conducted in line with the codes of practice and regulations
Providing expert advice and support regarding street works and NRSWA compliance
Job Requirements:
Experience with street works and NRSWA inspections
Strong understanding of street works legislation, regulations, and codes of practice
Proficiency in recording and reporting on infrastructure and surface apparatus conditions
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Relevant qualifications or certification in NRSWA or a related field
