Their flagship products, CableFish® and DataFish®, provide reliable and cost-effective solutions for touchdown monitoring and real-time met-ocean data. Role Description This is a contractor role, mostly offshore based, on 30 day rotations. The CableFish Technician will be responsible for the installation and operation of the CableFish® system, conducting touch down monitoring in various marine environments in UK and abroad, and ensuring the system functions efficiently and satisfies the client's requirements. This year the work is split between the US and the UK. Therefore a B1/B2 work Visa will be required (preferred you have one otherwise we can apply). Next year there will be opportunities to join the team full-time. Qualifications Experience with marine survey equipment and operations Knowledge of IP networks and fault diagnosis techniques. Knowledge of underwater cable installation processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting Experience with underwater robotics is a plus Degree in Marine Technology, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
