* A strong mathematical and engineering mindset with an innovative approach to problem-solving applicable to complex technical and system-level requirements.
* Experience with mathematical simulation tools/languages, such as Mathworks MATLAB, Simulink, Pearl, Python, or MathCAD.
* An understanding of factors affecting the real-world performance of radar systems and their impact on modeled or simulated performance predictions.
* Further education or equivalent experience in a relevant STEM discipline.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct mathematical modeling and simulation development to devise and evolve algorithmic and design solutions that meet system capability and performance requirements of complex radar systems.
* Utilize mathematical modeling and simulation to identify and develop performance enhancements and innovative solutions for improving existing radar product capabilities and evolving future technologies.
* Develop novel solutions to address evolving technical challenges and emerging issues faced by our customer community.
* Support multi-disciplined engineering teams in the realization, implementation, verification, and validation of algorithmic and design solutions for deployable radar systems.
* Conduct system performance analysis and design trade-offs of principal system parameters to characterize and define design constraints and limitations in various operational scenarios.
* Undertake system performance analysis of integration and post-trials data to inform radar systems design solutions and generate customer acceptance evidence.
* Apply a breadth of knowledge, skills, and experience in Systems Engineering (e.g., ISO 15288) to resolve engineering issues and develop solutions for a range of products and situations related to Future Air Dominance.
