Hours of Work: 18.75 hours per week (permanent contract)
Responsible to: Charity Shop Manager
Location: The TAD Centre Middlesbrough
Job Purpose and Role: To support sustainable income generation through the sale of donated items on online selling platforms.
The Online Charity Shop Assistant will sell donated items through Age UK Teesside’s online shopping platforms to support older people in Teesside experiencing Loneliness, Isolation and Poverty.
You would work two and a half days a week (18.5 hours); we understand the importance of flexibility, and working days and times can be discussed. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
The Role Involves:
1. Researching and valuing items online
2. Listing items on online platforms including Vinted, Ebay, Gumtree, and Facebook Marketplace
3. Packaging items for dispatch and posting
4. Dealing with customer queries
5. Arranging collections of donated goods

Person Specification:
1. A knowledge of online selling platforms is preferred
2. An interest in clothing/valuing items
3. Driving license/own car preferred
4. Proficiency in computer skills required.
