As an Ambulance Preparation Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our ambulances are well-prepared and equipped to provide prompt and efficient emergency medical services. Shift timings:
02:00 till 06:00 based on 2 weekly rota.
Week 1 - Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays (4hrs per shift)
Week 2 - Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (4hrs per shift)
Total hours over a two week period 28hrs
Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitize ambulances after each use to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
* Stock ambulances with necessary medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are readily available for emergency situations
* Inspect and maintain ambulance equipment, including oxygen tanks, defibrillators, and stretchers, to ensure they are functioning properly
* Keep accurate records of all supplies and equipment in ambulances, monitoring and replenishing as needed
* Follow strict protocols and procedures to handle hazardous materials safely and dispose of them appropriately
* Collaborate with the transport team to ensure smooth handover of incoming and outgoing ambulances
* Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the ambulance garage and storage areas
Requirements
* No Experience necessary, full training provided!
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision under pressure
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
* Valid C1 driver's licence – This is essential to enable you the ability to drive the emergency service vehicles at Make Ready Sites
* A basic DBS check will be required for the role – this will be actioned by Churchill
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
