About the role Wheatley Homes South, part of Wheatley Group, provides affordable housing and outstanding services for people in its communities across Dumfries and Galloway. Our in-house repairs team are spread across the region ranging from Stranraer, Castle Douglas, Dumfries, Sanquhar, and Annan,and they deliver repairs, maintenance, void works, and one-off investment replacement for customers across 11,000 Wheatley Homes South properties. We want candidates who take pride in their work and always strive to go above and beyond for our customers. As well as this, we are looking for someone who will help us achieve our targets for response times, right first time and customer satisfaction. Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic professional who is flexible and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and able to work collaboratively with our colleagues and customers. A key part of the role will be focusing on damp and mould remediation works as well as preparing and decorating walls and ceilings to a high standard. We are looking for a qualified Painter and Decorator certified to SVQ or City and Guilds level. A driving licence and basic disclosure check is required.
