We're looking for a HR & Recruitment Advisor to assist in growing and shaping our incredible team. The role is very varied; responsible for everything HR and Recruitment related in a fast-paced, high-growth business.
Some days you'll be leading on complex employee relations issues, sometimes you'll be back to back with Sales interviews - there's never a dull day!
It's entirely autonomous so we'd be looking for someone with experience in a similar role who is proactive, isn't afraid to challenge and can juggle multiple priorities at once.
Experience in end to end recruitment and managing HR processes is essential, along with a solid grasp of UK employment law. Contact centre experience would be great, but we're open to background.
Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 in Old Trafford (flexible working)
Salary from £45,000
HR
Onboarding:
* Issue employment contracts
* Arrange appropriate induction with L&D
* Arrange IT equipment, system set ups and desk space is in place
* Set up employee on HRIS, Bright HR
* Host HR induction on first day
* Regular check-in’s with new employees during first few months of employment
Employee relations:
* First point of contact for employees for HR queries
* Advise senior management on personnel issues
* Manage policies and procedures, updating where necessary
* Lead on all disciplinary and grievance procedures
General:
* Update BrightHR when there are changes to roles
* Issue contract amendments for promotions
* Manage professional qualifications and apprenticeships
* Track and manage sickness absence and lateness, arrange review meetings with Managers and Directors where necessary
* Advise on all other leave requests – parental, maternity, paternity, compassionate
Talent
Responsibilities:
* Own the end-end recruitment process for all roles
* Work with Directors and Managers to create new roles and effectively plan resource
* Write job descriptions, advertise on appropriate channels and headhunt using LinkedIn when required
* Conduct screening calls, vet candidates against criteria, gather all required information and 'sell' the role
* Relay feedback to candidates
* Own company LinkedIn page, make posts when possible
* Manage career's site content
* Manage Glassdoor page and respond to any review
Office Management
Responsibilities:
* Oversight of all facilities, ensure smooth running of the office
* Liaise with building maintenance to resolve issues where required
* Plan company events
* Ad-hoc requests from directors
What we're looking for
* Experience in a similar role with exposure to all aspects of the employee lifecycle
* The ability to self-motivate and work autonomously
* CIPD L5 preferred but not essential
* Strong IT and system skills – you will be system owner of both HRIS and ATS
* Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes
* Exposure working in a contact centre environment highly beneficial
