We’re excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an HR Shared Services Leader to take charge of establishing and growing our newly launched HRSS function in Leeds. Your main tasks and responsibilities:
• Take full ownership of developing the HRSS function. Define and implement what “good” looks like and build the service with the support of key stakeholders.
• Oversee a team of 8 HR Coordinators and HR Operations staff including integrating the teams into the HRSS, unifying payroll, pensions, and benefits under your leadership.
• Establish and refine systems, Service Level Agreements and response times and ensure seamless support across payroll, benefits administration, HR, and pensions.
• Drive continuous improvement and create a cohesive, motivated team environment while enhancing service delivery.
• Collaborate closely with department heads and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for HRSS initiatives.
• Manage employee benefits including fleet management and oversee payroll, benefits, and more. You will have full autonomy to align the HRSS with our company goals.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Proven experience in managing an HR or Shared Services function, preferably one that you’ve helped build or grow from scratch.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, with a focus on payroll, benefits administration, and pensions.
• A skilled people leader adept at navigating team changes and unifying teams through growth periods.
• Experience with setting up and managing HR systems, SLAs, and response protocols.
• Ability to handle sensitive information related to pensions and benefits with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience with Workday is ideal but not essential.
