Main duties of the job
* Contributing to the production of financial reports in accordance with Trust procedures and timetables.
* Budget statement reconciliation and analysis.
* Investigating variances and making any necessary adjustments.
* Identifying data processing errors and making corrective changes.
* Manipulating income and expenditure data for forecasting and budget setting exercises.
* Validation of new spend and involvement in business cases.
* Active engagement with budget holders and other Trust colleagues is paramount to being successful in this position.

* Educated to degree level, NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
* Equivalent professional experience.

* Experience of working in an accounting department, including in a specialist financial management role.
