Reports to Systems Manager – Client Application Services
The purpose of this support role is to work alongside colleagues in the Client Applications team to enhance the experience of Aztec’s client servicing applications suite for clients and staff.
The role involves tasks such as providing user support, creating requirement documents, writing reports, supporting integration and automation, documentation, training material preparation, testing, deployments, and process improvements.
This is a hybrid position based in Southampton, requiring a minimum of three days in the office, with full-time presence during probation.
Key responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the client-facing team to gather detailed requirements, support system configuration and reporting, and act as a business analyst when needed.
* Engage with clients and internal teams throughout project cycles, providing updates and maintaining communication.
* Support second-level support requests via the support desk, ensuring timely updates to clients and project teams.
* Interpret complex requirements to develop solutions within system configurations or reports, and assist users with data errors.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients, both verbally and in writing.
* Manage end-to-end project processes, including requirement gathering, solution development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
* Participate in data projects and system integrations to maximize data utility for clients.
* Contribute to operational efficiency improvements through automation, integration, and reporting.
* Test configuration changes and document findings for release cycles.
* Enhance system knowledge and update documentation and training materials.
* Assess the wider impact of system changes, ensuring scalable and consistent configurations.
* Follow change management processes, including documentation, testing, and approvals.
* Document system and process changes, update training materials, and develop test cases.
* Prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
* Support ongoing learning through study and professional development, including programming, project management, or business analysis.
