As Senior Commissioning and Transformation manager for Children and Young People in Wakefield you will join a system that prioritises children and young people and works collaboratively to deliver services and pathways that enable the best start in life. In particular, this role will lead on the transformation agenda for maternity services and to support children with long-term conditions to thrive and achieve good outcomes. Main duties of the job As Senior Commissioner and Transformation Manager for Children and Young People, you will be part of the System Reform and Integration Directorate, reporting to the Service Director of Childrens Health and Wellbeing. You will work closely with providers of services across the spectrum of need, including maternity services and the Neo-natal and Maternity Voices partnership as well as the wider offer delivered by Wakefield Families Together including 0-19 services, Mid Yorkshire NHS Teaching Trust and our Family Hub network. You will also provide a key point of contact to the West Yorkshire Children, Young People and Families Programme and connect with commissioners from across the West Yorkshire region.
