The Role: Teaching Assistant
Our mainstream client, located a short distance from Gloucester, is actively seeking a versatile and energetic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). To succeed in this role, you should be confident in providing one-to-one support for students, as well as offering general support to the classroom teacher and students, including those with SEN requirements. As a Teaching Assistant, you will undertake various tasks, including organizing the classroom to support the delivery of engaging lessons.
The School
You will join a welcoming and enthusiastic team of teaching assistants eager to meet new members. This position offers an excellent opportunity for graduates and aspiring teachers with minimal classroom experience to start their careers in education, as well as experienced teaching assistants looking to explore new environments. A minimum of three months experience in a childcare setting is required. The successful candidate will be motivated to start quickly and take on a diverse range of responsibilities. The part-time salary ranges from £16,198 to £17,912, depending on responsibilities and experience.
