Our frontline delivery team (Employment Advisors) work with our residents who are both low-paid in-work and those who are unemployed, supporting them with vital employability skills and to move into good quality, fairly paid work with support and upskilling/reskilling opportunities. In addition to this we have an Employer Engagement team. This team has been newly created to respond to the increased need to develop our relationships with borough businesses, limit barriers to creating new and good quality pathways into apprenticeship and work opportunities for borough residents and ensure employers are equipped with all of the support that they need to enable this.
