Job Overview
We are looking to recruit an experienced, qualified, GDC-registered dental nurse.
The ideal candidate is passionate about providing an excellent patient experience and is someone for whom being caring and compassionate towards others is second-nature. We want someone who can connect with patients and staff with an upbeat, professional, approachable manner, who can tailor the way they interact to meet the needs of the patient.
As a small team, we are looking for someone who is not only able to follow the important policies and procedures than underpin the basis of a well-run practice, but is switched-on and can think for themselves. The candidate should be able to know how to use their time effectively to help to create and maintain an efficient, supportive, smooth-functioning working environment.
Dental implant experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided both in-house and via in-person courses. As continued learning is so important to us, the successful candidate would need to have a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills and be willing to attend various courses and actively participate in putting these into practice.
We're looking for someone who has genuine fluency and confidence in using a PC, dental software and common Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.

* Participating in the recording of patients' clinical records with exacting attention to detail.
* Supporting the reception desk with appointment bookings and enquiries both over the phone and face-to-face, and assisting with the administration of patient data.
* Participating with in-house and in-person training courses to continue to learn and develop their skillset within their dental field.
* Managing dental materials stock levels.
* Managing the various support kits such as medical emergency drugs, first aid, fire extinguishers, spills kits, etc., to ensure they are in good-working order and adequately stocked.
* Managing the maintenance and care of dental instruments and dental equipment.
