We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who can demonstrate excellent leadership of SEND through high-quality provision and support. The successful candidate will lead our growing SEND provision, including having additional whole school responsibilities for our literacy strategy and work closely with the literacy lead within school and the Assistant SENDCO to improve reading ages and the daily experiences of SEND, disadvantaged and LAC students. The candidate will also work closely with a range of school leaders and the community to develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of whole school provision and respond accordingly to improve all areas of the school.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a positive impact on students’ well-being, and outcomes and be a senior leader, who has a can do, solution focussed and research-based approach to ensuring that every SEND, vulnerable and disadvantaged learner achieves well and thrives.
