Description A bit about the role The Project Manager will be a key member of the Corporate Services PMO team, responsible for managing a diverse range of projects from initiation to completion. This role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders across various departments to ensure projects are aligned with the strategic objectives of the organisation. The Project Manager will oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Southport office. What does a typical day look like? Lead project planning sessions, define project scope and objectives, and develop detailed project plans. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and escalate issues to management as needed. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to obtain a police check with no disclosable outcomes and Blue Card.
